The Daily Wire is searching for a Vice President of Operations to join our leadership team in Nashville, Tennessee!

The VP of Operations will oversee the launch, maintenance, and optimization of Daily Wire's new and existing projects, business verticals, and products with the primary goal of helping the company run at maximum efficiency and productivity. This person will be responsible for ensuring the company has the resources needed to accomplish all assigned goals and report on progress toward each of those goals, providing granular insights and accountability on a line-of-business and per-project basis. The VP of Operations will work with curiosity to understand all aspects of Daily Wire, its interdependencies, and collaboration needs to capitalize on each opportunity.

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategize and implement operational plans with key objective of maximizing business profits
  • Turn ideas into reality by solving any problem or challenge with ingenuity, grit and adaptability
  • Work closely alongside Daily Wire’s COO to ensure daily operations run as smoothly and efficiently as possible
  • Ensure the company has the resources needed to accomplish all assigned goals and report on progress toward each of those goals
  • Help analyze the potential risk and reward of new business opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally to seize opportunity as they arise; communicate, pivot, and lead to capitalize on a quick-turn market demand and news cycle
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and that projects, businesses, and business units hit designated goals
  • Provide granular insights and accountability on a line-of-business and per-project basis
  • Oversee The Daily Wire’s live event and tour management growing needs
  • Oversee the logistics on production and fulfillment of all physical products
  • Regularly assess organizational efficiency and strategize necessary changes to address inefficiencies
  • Build and maintain reports on overall company efficiency and productivity
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • 8-10+ years previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • 4+ years in management role, preferably leading leaders
  • Previous professional experience and proven success in a rapid-growth company
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and be able to proactively chart a path
  • Excellent collaboration and people-leader skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think big picture to ideate new business opportunities and potential
  • Highly self-motivated and self-starting
  • Resourceful with a high sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to function independently
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and high-energy work environment
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • G-suite proficiency
