The Daily Wire is looking for a Creative Studio Manager to join our Creative Design team in Nashville, Tennessee! The Creative Studio Manager of Daily Wire will be responsible for the oversight of design projects and staff, communicating with internal and/or external clients and other key stakeholders, setting priorities to meet deadlines, troubleshooting, and other production jobs that fall outside the job description of other personnel in a creative studio.

  • Manage the day to day running of the Creative Studio, overseeing all studio operations, making full use of project management resources, as well as collaborations tools
  • Create and implement studio schedules, monthly deadlines, project goals, expectations, and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery
  • Manage projects from initial idea to final completion, effectively utilizing studio time and the team in accordance with the budget
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to understand business and project needs, update clients on project status throughout
  • Assess briefs and assign designers to a project based on personnel’s strengths and skills
  • Proof and review designs and check documents daily before submitting or sharing
  • Assist on the creative production side when needed and meet with team members for feedback
  • Manage annual leaves of employees, prepare and complete performance reviews, develop and mentor direct reports to grow their skills

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • 5+ years of design/creative project management experience or similar role
  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment while meeting and driving deadlines
  • Experience in managing and delegating work and supervising projects in a creative studio context
  • Exceptional skills in organization, prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate concise, accurate, and deadline-driven information
  • Have an exceptional eye for detail, layout, and typography
  • Proficiency in design and production software
  • Anticipate needs and take initiative to keep operations running smoothly
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure but also maintain a sense of urgency when appropriate
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Interest and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscape a plus
  • G-suite proficiency
