The Daily Wire seeks an IT Help Desk Associate to join our growing IT team in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will help build a pleasant and seamless onboarding experience and work with the Technology and HR teams to effectively maintain a robust and reliable technical working environment.

A successful candidate for this role will have a pleasant disposition and effective communication skills in addition to excellent IT knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop infrastructure and office hardware
  • Implementing new server and desktop technologies and policies
  • Building and configuring machines (via images and setting up user accounts/configuring to relevant specifications)
  • Availability for out-of-hours support as and when required
  • Providing client-facing technical support and support for events
  • Updating tickets with current and thorough information via a central support ticketing system
  • Ensure how-to documentations are current and updated as needed
  • Fulfill purchasing and installing hardware requests
  • Equip all conference rooms with appropriate AV technology
  • Troubleshoot AV or hardware failures
  • Onboard new employees and offboard departing employees

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to communicate and delegate comfortably with all levels of the business
  • Experience with network routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience with enterprise WiFi networks and equipment
  • Experience with Apple MacOS laptop and Studio setup and support, including MDM
  • Microsoft Windows laptop and desktop setup and support including AV policies and control
  • Office 365 and Azure AD administration
  • Audio Visual and Teleconferencing admin and support experience
  • Maintenance and repair of machines (via 3rd parties) and inventory management of infrastructure and software subscriptions
  • Management of communications and alerts around cyber threats and policy compliance
  • Troubleshooting skills and a logical mind
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize
