Post-Production Video Editors at The Daily Wire work on a variety of content including daily podcasts, long-form interviews, and YouTube videos, as well as shows like Ben Shapiro’s Debunked and documentaries from Jordan Peterson and a host of other DailyWire+ content.
This Video Editor will be focused editing viral content of all forms for YouTube.
You’ll thrive in this role if:
- You have 4+ years of previous professional video editing experience.
- You are experienced and comfortable with working at a very fast pace with high turnaround times.
- You are comfortable following standardized video editing formats as needed, with an emphasis on YouTube formatted content.
- You’re a team player, always eager to grow and open to notes and constructive feedback.
- Bonus points for experience working on viral YouTube/social content.

Responsibilities:
- Edit various creative and promotional video content, both long form and short form
- Collaborate and communicate with the Executive Producer, and Producers in editing sessions to implement creative notes
- Creatively support and emphasize subject matter in videos through compelling, fast paced editing, clever usage of b-roll, stills, and memes, and creative storytelling
- Create project templates
- Create assembly edits, string-outs, and finishing edits with precision
- Edit in various digital-video formats
- Convert, transcode, and compress media for post-production workflow
- Deliver high-quality material on time, on budget, and in an efficient manner
- Organize and archive footage and deliverables
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Complete and submit daily project logs in accordance with Daily Wire Project Log Policy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements:
- South Florida based position (working remotely not an option)
- 4+ years previous professional video editing experience required
- Working knowledge of video production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud apps, particularly Premiere Pro and Photoshop
- Knowledge of digital media including codec, image types, resolutions, and frame rates
- Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics (preferred but not required)
- Strong visual sensibility and pacing
- Understanding of relationship between video edit and YouTube algorithm
- Ability to maintain multiple ongoing projects at once
- Ability to apply notes given from management
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes a healthy work environment
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Assembly and Editorial experience
- Audio Mixing experience
- Color Correction experience
- G-suite proficiency
