The Daily Wire is looking for a Sr. Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in Nashville, Tennessee! The Sr. Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the brand planning process for a premium DW Brand. She or he will oversee the 360° plans and work closely with leadership, setting goals, connecting data points across a variety of marketing and distribution channels, and providing direction for the overall cross-functional marketing and creative teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion, implementing brand plans, and using a variety of data to drive recognition and profitability. As a problem solver with a strong background in data analysis and reporting, the Sr. Brand Manager will have the opportunity to make business cases for a variety of tactics to test, learn and grow our business. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the brand planning process, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to set goals, KPIs and strategies and tactics that lead to a budget and calendar that grows our business and builds our brand
  • Lead teams through execution of the brand plan, test and learn opportunities and any necessary pivots the business may take to deliver or beat the annual plan
  • Drive the development and execution of brand campaigns through internal brainstorms, internal and competitive insights and target consumer/community trends
  • Fully own ideation and launch of major marketing activations and campaigns
  • Provide support over channel strategy and help lead teams through planning, execution and marketing
  • Support creation and refinement of brand and product messaging, ensuring key messaging is consistent across all consumer touchpoints
  • Analyzes sales data, industry trends, competitor analysis, product reviews, and competitive research to identify actionable insights
  • Align the company executives and marketing personnel around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics
  • Establish and maintain brand budgets
  • Build relationships with influencers, journalists, and media outlets
  • Oversee social media accounts and ensure brand consistency
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, Marketing/Business preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience of progressive brand management, market research, or consumer behavior experience is required
    • Experience with market research/customer insights and business performance tracking across a market landscape is strongly preferred
    • Experience with executing digital/online marketing strategies is strongly preferred
  • Experience, understanding and continual curiosity in the space of digital marketing platforms, innovation and consumer engagement
  • Proven experience growing a B2C brand
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple and complex projects simultaneously
  • Creative problem solver with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Deep understanding of data, analytics and how to use them to grow long-term, profitable brands
  • Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial/start-up environment preferred; at ease working in a continuously changing environment
  • Comfortable working in a team setting, being flexible and working well under pressure
  • Able to influence stakeholders with ideas that build value
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work confidently and respectfully at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • G-suite proficiency
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes a plus
