The Daily Wire is looking for a strategy-driven Social Media Platform Manager to join our Marketing team in Nashville, Tennessee! The Social Media Platform Manager will be responsible for creating and leading strategies to grow the Daily Wire and talent’s brand awareness, as well as maintaining all operations for the platform.   • Manage the content posting schedule for the platform
  • Manage Daily Wire and Talent-branded platform accounts to grow reach, followers, engagement, and revenue for the platform
  • Develop different lines of business and set strategies for each to grow revenue
  • Set trackable goals for above KPIs; develop strategies and objectives to meet KPIs
  • Track and report on KPI progress
  • Manage the platform video program to grow reach and revenue; work directly with the Content Creators that contribute to the program
  • Provide quality control for all platform content in accordance with the Daily Wire and Talent brands and the platform’s content policies
  • Manage any direct reports, including recruiting, training, disciplinary measures, and work schedules
  • Troubleshoot platform issues including technical problems with video and editorial content
  • Work directly with the parties experiencing the issues and liaise with the platform’s tech team to submit error reports and follow up on resolving issues
  • Stay up to date on changing platform policies and emerging new features or updates
  • Liaise with platform’s representatives on updates and educate the rest of the team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • 2+ years previous experience in comparable social media marketing position
  • Immersion in and full understanding of social media platform operations; including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Snapchat
  • Knowledge of and experience in 3rd party social media platforms, including Crowdtangle, Grabien, and Twitter Video Downloader
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Strong understanding of the Daily Wire and Talent brands
  • Strong instincts for successful social media platform audiences and content
  • Ability to spot and capitalize on social media trends
  • Experience orchestrating social media marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent proof-reading skills
  • Impeccable grammar and spelling
  • Detail-oriented
  • G-suite proficiency

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

Compensation: $65k-$85k; Dependent upon experience
