The Daily Wire is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in Nashville, Tennessee! The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the building, deployment, and testing of marketing emails to impact audience growth, engagement, and revenue. Qualified candidates have 3+ years of previous email marketing experience, excellent grammar skills, strong attention to detail, and are highly self-motivated. Responsibilities:
- Leverage highly technical data and segmentation functions for automation and targeting
- Utilize webhooks, integrations, and API calls as part of the email tech-stack
- Compile data, monitor analytics, and report on performance to the leadership team
- Drive strategy and content for newsletters and marketing campaigns to boost engagement, memberships, and email revenue
- Maintain good sender and IP reputation
- Coordinate across marketing to drive name acquisition efforts and ensure proper sending of information through various channels
- Work with various agencies and softwares to optimize multi-channel marketing platform
- Plan and develop re-engagement strategies
- Collaborate with copywriters, email designers, and other members of creative team to optimize email look and performance
- Aid in sponsored email program in coordination with sales including setting brand guidelines and approving client creative
- Work closely with publishing, editorial, and e-commerce to achieve key marketing objectives through email
- Create and deploy A/B tests for improved engagement
- Build and deploy text and push notifications
- Manage and maintain high-volume, high-performing email program
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience & Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in direct response email marketing or e-commerce
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS a plus
- Familiarity with Braze software preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Strong grammar skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Interest in the political and editorial news landscapes
- Ability to thrive working with a significant degree of autonomy
- Highly self-motivated and extremely adaptable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- G-suite proficiency
