The Daily Wire is looking for an exceptional visual storyteller and natural leader who understands the media & entertainment world, its trends, and ways to bring it to life in fun, unique, and unexpected ways for our subscribers. You will create game-changing campaigns that differentiate our streaming platform, news division, and E-Commerce site, setting a new high mark across our industry. This role will join the Marketing department dedicated to imagining and designing brands for Daily Wire films, original series, and podcasts. You will also design executable style guides for these products, to be used in marketing and promotional pieces such as film trailers, print, online, mobile, television, radio, and out of home. We seek someone who is curious,insightful, and inspired to create a visually-powerful design system that is flexible, innovative, and above all else exactingly crafted.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the concepting, presentation, and selling through of creative presentations, which tie together multimedia channels and customer experiences from web to in-app to social to email
  • Create original design concepts that are visually interesting and on brand – sizzle reels, website assets, show logos, film posters, mood boards, storyboards, typeface suggestions, and visually-dazzling background information
  • Develop ideas that are pushing the boundaries of product design and brand storytelling
  • Collaborate with a team of copywriters, designers, photographers, illustrators, production artists and creative freelancers
  • Communicate innovative brand ideas to senior executives in clear, concise ways to both marketing and product audiences
  • Work with internal user research teams to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement to understand the core needs of your design system.
  • Oversee the execution from a visual perspective to ensure that what we build is what we’ve designed with a critical eye for specifics

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of art direction experience
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing storytelling, conceptual and executional skills in integrated digital campaigns
  • Impeccable interactive and digital art direction and design skills and can design for web, social, emails, banners and other digital mediums
  • Experience bringing ideas to life with high quality comps and prototypes using creative software and other tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Cinema4D etc.)
