The Daily Wire is looking for a Vice President of Operations to lead and oversee our internal marketing agency! The Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the department, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.   • Oversee the daily workflow of the department
  • Supervisor to assigned direct reports
  • Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the division’s operations
  • Collaborate with Executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems
  • Collaborate with other divisions and departments to carry out the division’s goals and objectives
  • Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
  • Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects
  • Interact with top priority clients on various issues
  • Maintain awareness of competitive landscape, development and standards, and opportunities for expansion
  • Ensure all client accounts and projects remain on budget and schedule
  • Ensure accurate time tracking and proper utilization of resources
  • Establishes and administer the division’s budget
  • Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Co-CEO and other members of leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management
  • Identify training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

  • Previous ad agency experience required
  • 5+ years previous professional experience in a position of leadership
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a team
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
  • Strong time-management skills of self and those you manage
  • Innovative mind-set
  • Pro-active approach to work; confident bringing insight and creative solutions to problems before being asked to address them
