The Daily Wire leadership team is expanding and we’re currently searching for a new Vice President of Digital Communications to join our Marketing department and work from our newly developed offices in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee!

The Vice President of Digital Communications will set strategies for and oversee digital marketing operations in the area of Email Marketing, App Notifications, and SMS. Our ideal candidate has experience leading marketing teams that craft large-scale digital communication campaigns with a proven success of driving growth, increasing awareness, and improving overall audience engagement through the design and execution of digital communication programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and implement the company's overall digital communications strategy relating to email, SMS, and app notifications
  • Generate demand for Daily Wire products and promote sales via digital channels
  • Drive acquisition of new contacts through owned and paid channels
  • Increase revenue per contact through optimization and segmentation
  • Collaborate across departments to build new lists and communications series
  • Develop competitive positioning, branding, and corporate messaging strategies through the above-mentioned mediums
  • Develop campaigns, events, or promotions to be shared through email, text, or app notifications
  • Set campaign performance standards and track progress against expectations
  • Lead and direct the work of employees on your team
  • Present reports to leadership and key stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Develop policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN -based position (working remotely is not an option)
  • 10+ years previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Excellent people-leader skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think big picture to ideate new business opportunities and potential
  • Demonstrated success in developing long-term client partnerships
  • Highly self-motivated and self-starting
  • Resourceful with a high sense of urgency
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to function independently
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and high-energy work environment
  • Interest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • G-suite proficiency

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer

Start date: Immediate

Employment type: Full-time; Exempt

Compensation: Dependent upon experience
